Art in the Atrium is the Frist Art Museum’s new addition to creatively activate spaces throughout its historic building. The inspiration, of course was to translate the architectural beauty of it’s atrium into the logo. The art deco inspired border is also a repeating element throughout it’s galleries and Martin ArtQuest.

The collaboration between the Frist Art Museum and 50 Forward offers a program for people over 50 to explore the world of digital art creation on iPads.


Partnering with the Nashville Film Festival, Summer Film Camp is the Frist Art Museum’s one week workshop where teens can produce, edit, and screen their own movies. Keeping with the Frist’s brand typeface Avenir, I lightly tightened the tracking, and incorporated a hand drawn “FILM” inside the Frist S made to look like a film strip.
